Wang Chengjie, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of CIETAC, attended the event and delivered a welcome speech. He warmly welcomed all the guests and expressed sincere gratitude to the long-term support and assistance from colleagues in the arbitration, legal, business, and practical circles. Secretary General Wang Chengjie introduced to the guests that CIETAC has a history of nearly 70 years. It has always taken promoting the integration of international arbitration rule of law as its responsibility and building a cutting-edge platform for global commercial dispute resolution as its mission, standing at the forefront and forging ahead diligently in the wave of international arbitration. The "China Arbitration Week" is precisely the "golden brand" polished by CIETAC together with the majority of arbitration colleagues. This year's China Arbitration Week kicked off on August 22 and will conclude in late October. It will host 112 events in 44 cities across 10 countries and regions around the world, including Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong (China), Macau (China), Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, Rome, Madrid, etc. 507 international organizations and domestic and foreign institutions, including the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Court of Arbitration), and the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC), have joined hands in cooperation, and more than 1,000 experts have taken the stage to exchange insights. The topics range from the revision and development of arbitration law to the institutional connection and legal innovation in cross-border dispute resolution, from the coordinated development of BRICS arbitration to the institutional innovation in cross-border dispute resolution in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, from the regional practice of the "Spainish Arbitration Day" to the in-depth analysis of hot legal issues in China-Russia trade, from the impact of global tariff fluctuations and international sanctions on arbitration to the integrated coexistence of AI and arbitration in the digital economy era, and to new paths for dispute resolution in fields such as low-altitude economy, energy construction, and medical and health care. As the "flagship event" of China Arbitration Week, the China Arbitration Summit has been held for 11 consecutive years and has become a "high ground" for knowledge sharing in the field of international commercial arbitration. At the same time, the China-Latin America International Arbitration Forum kicked off simultaneously, which is not only a new opportunity to deepen friendship between the arbitration circles of China and Latin America but also a new starting point for the coordinated development of global rule of law forces.

Nearly 400 experts, scholars, and peers in the field of international arbitration from around the world gathered together to conduct in-depth exchanges and intellectual collisions in a harmonious and enthusiastic atmosphere. The participating guests expressed their profound insights, integrated diverse perspectives, built consensus, and jointly depicted the blueprint, creating a brilliant and future-oriented story for international arbitration.

At present, strengthening arbitration exchanges and cooperation is not only an inevitable choice to comply with the times but also a common vision of all sectors of the domestic and international community. By holding the "Arbitration Night" again, CIETAC aims to build a palace for high-end dialogue and a bridge for consensus-building among global arbitration and legal professionals. In the future, CIETAC will continue to walk hand in hand with colleagues from all walks of life at home and abroad, integrate ideas with wisdom, gather strength with consensus, jointly explore the future path of arbitration, and jointly depict a new chapter of cooperative development!
