On July 3, 2025, Wang Chengjie, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), received Zhou Qiongzhi, Chairman of Changsha Arbitration Commission, and her delegation in Beijing. Both sides discussed the improvement of the internal governance structure of arbitration institutions and the promotion of the high-quality development of arbitration.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views by focusing on topics including how to optimize the internal governance structure of arbitration institutions, advance the development of world-class arbitration institutions, strengthen the quality of case management, improve the internal supervision mechanism, and enhance the credibility of arbitration.

Wei Ziping, Director of the Supervision and Coordination Division of CIETAC and Secretary-General of CIETAC South China Sub-Commission; Lu Fei, Director of the Business Development Division; and Gou Jiangtao, Deputy Director of the General Affairs Division, among others, attended the meeting.
