On June 16, 2025, Mr. Wang Chengjie, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), received Cui Jingwen, Vice Chairman and Director of the Supervisory Committee , Wang Yulong, Secretary-General and their delegation from Xi’an Arbitration Commission  in Beijing. The two sides held discussions on building world-class arbitration institutions and promoting the high-quality development of the arbitration industry.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on key topics including institutional reforms of arbitration bodies and mechanisms, the construction of international arbitration centers, case management practices, the cultivation of arbitrators and secretary teams, the construction of smart arbitration, and the expansion of foreign-related services.

Mr. Wei Ziping, Director of the Supervision and Coordination Division and Secretary-General of CIETAC South China Sub-Commission; Ms. Lu Fei, Director of the Business Development Division; and Mr. Gou Jiangtao, Deputy Director of the General Affairs Division, among others, attended the meeting.
