To protect the legitimate rights and interests of investors across the Taiwan Strait and to further promote economic exchange and development between the two sides, the Cross-Strait Seminar on Economic and Trade Arbitration is jointly organized by the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) and the Chinese Arbitration Association, Taipei (CAA). The seminar is held biennially, alternating between the Mainland and Taiwan. As one of CIETAC’s flagship events, it has been successfully convened nineteen times to date.
