On the morning of April 29, 2025, Zhao Cheng, the Resident Vice President of the China Real Estate Association, led a delegation to visit CIETAC. Wang Chengjie, Vice Chairman & Secretary General of CIETAC, received the delegation and held a discussion.

During the discussion, Secretary General Wang Chengjie first briefly introduced CIETAC's advanced practices and achievements in establishing a diversified dispute resolution mechanism, cultivating a pool of professional arbitrators, leading the innovation of arbitration rules, and deeply exploring emerging industry fields. Considering the complex situation during the current adjustment period of the real estate market, he pointed out that disputes in the real estate industry are characterized by diversity of subjects, high amounts in disputes, and complexity in legal relationships. As one of the most internationally influential arbitration institutions in China, CIETAC has continuously promoted the innovation of the arbitration mechanism in recent years. By optimizing the "the Rules of Construction and Engineering Dispute Revie w", exploring the "Arbitration + Mediation" collaborative mechanism, and training arbitrators in real estate and construction projects fields, it has provided multi-level and highly efficient dispute resolution services for the industry. He expressed that CIETAC is willing to deepen cooperation and exchanges with China Real Estate Association to provide a powerful means for implementing the central government's policy requirements of "stabilizing expectations, guarding against risks, and promoting transformation", and to provide a more solid legal basis for the transformation and upgrading of the real estate industry.
Vice President Zhao Cheng highly appraised CIETAC's leading role in the field of diversified dispute resolution. He said that he hoped to carry out in-depth cooperation with CIETAC in aspects such as the connection between arbitration and mediation, seminars, and talent cultivation, strengthen professional empowerment, focus on long-term collaboration, unleash the potential of cooperation, and jointly build the legal ecosystem of the industry.
