On January 23rd, 2025, Wang Chengjie, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of CIETAC, received Yuan Yongjun, Party Leadership Group Secretary of CCPIT Hebei Council, and her delegation in Beijing.

During the meeting, Secretary General Wang Chengjie extended a warm welcome to Party Secretary Yuan Yongjun and her delegation, and briefed the visitors on the advantages of CIETAC and the development of CIETAC Xiong'an Sub-Commission. He said that CIETAC has always closely focused on the national strategic layout and actively promoted the integration of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. The professional arbitration services of CIETAC highly match the needs of Hebei Province to build a market-oriented, rule-of-law and international business environment. Xiong'an Sub-Commission has been strongly supported by the CCPIT Hebei Council since its establishment. In 2025, the Xiong’an Sub-Commission will carry out field operation in the Xiong'an New Area , providing a new opportunity for exchanges and cooperation between the two sides.

Party Secretary Yuan Yongjun spoke highly of the achievements of CIETAC and Xiong'an Sub-Commission in recent years. She said that in the 2024 China Arbitration Week, the Memorandum of Cooperation on establishing and improving the mechanism of litigation-mediation & litigation-arbitration coordination for  foreign-related commercial disputes signed by relevant parties was a highlight for the construction of the rule-of-law based business environment in Hebei. It is hoped that with the resource advantage of CIETAC, the construction of rule of law in Xiong'an New Area and Hebei Province will be improved, and the arbitration service capacity of Hebei Province will be further enhanced.

The two sides are committed to continuously increasing the presence of CIETAC and Xiong'an Sub-Commission in Hebei, expanding the influence of CIETAC in Hebei, and promoting the deep participation of CIETAC in the construction of business environment in Hebei. The two sides also had full exchanges and reached a consensus on exploring new ways of cooperation and building new cooperation mechanisms.
