On December 22, 2021, the 4th Quarterly Council Meeting of Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre (ADNDRC) was successfully held online. Wang Chengjie, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of CIETAC, attended the meeting as the Chairman of ADNDRC.

The Council listened to the report from the Secretariat on the recent work of ADNDRC. It also listened to the recent work and next step plans reported by the Panel Selection Committee, the Business Development Committee and the Standards and Practice Committee. The Council also reviewed and discussed the preparation plans for the upcoming seminars and annual meetings of ADNDRC in 2022 and plans for related expert training and conferences.

In his concluding remarks, Chairman Wang Chengjie pointed out that the expert-oriented training of the ADNDRC will enhance the professional capabilities of domain name experts and help form a unified and standard refereeing practice. ADNDRC shall strengthen its institution building, the construction of expert team, and the work of business development, with an aim to further enhance institutional influence and professional and international service levels. As the Beijing Office of ADNDRC, CIETAC will host the annual conference of the ADNDRC in 2022. This will be an important opportunity for promoting the professional exchange of domain name dispute resolution mechanisms, pushing forward the international development of domain name dispute resolution services, and enhancing the influence of domain name dispute resolution services.

As one of the six generic top-level domains (gTLDs) dispute resolution institutions authorized by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), ADNDRC resolves disputes involving gTLDs and new gTLDs such as .COM, .ORG and .NET. ADNDRC was jointly established in 2002 by CIETAC and the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC). With the successive additions of the Korean Internet Address Dispute Resolution Committee (KIDRC) in 2006 and the Asian International Arbitration Center (AIAC) in 2009 as new members of ADNDRC, ADNDRC now has four offices in Beijing, Hong Kong, Seoul and Kuala Lumpur. The Secretariat of ADNDRC is located in Hong Kong
