He presented the topic "Promoting Chinese arbitration onto the world stage and jointly welcoming the new opportunities under ‘Belt and Road’- a two-way development of international commercial arbitration in China from the perspective of CIETAC". He pointed out that China's foreign-related arbitration started in 1956 with the establishment of CIETAC, developing along with the historical process of China's reform and opening up, and was deeply rooted in the background of economic globalization, especially the steady progress of the Belt and Road Initiative. Disputes among international commercial entities have increased correspondingly with the expanding of economic development, and China's international commercial arbitration has also gone to the world stage under such new opportunities and challenges. Chinese arbitration has been playing a two-way interaction with international arbitration in the process of its development. On the one hand, Chinese arbitration has absorbed the advanced elements and practices of international arbitration and formed its model with an international perspective and international level, i.e. the international development of Chinese arbitration; On the other hand, based on its own development experience, Chinese arbitration has played a positive role in the development and promotion of international arbitration, i.e. the international contribution made by Chinese arbitration. Over the past 63 years, CIETAC has witnessed the development of China's international commercial arbitration and practiced the two-way interaction with international arbitration with its various practices, and has gained vast credibility and influence in the world.
