He highlighted the advantages of arbitration in resolving cross-border commercial disputes, citing its key features such as party autonomy, expert adjudication, and flexibility and efficiency. In particular, drawing on CIETAC’s recent advancements in refining its rules, advancing digital transformation, establishing diversified dispute resolution mechanisms, and enhancing its international influence, he highlighted the professional leadership role played by Chinese arbitration institutions at the forefront of international arbitration. He further stated that CIETAC will continue to establish high-level exchange platforms, provide high-quality dispute resolution services, and promote China-EU and China-Germany economic and trade cooperation to new heights through openness and mutual benefit.
